I seldom copy other peoples puzzles but I was so impressed with Carter's creation I couldn't resist. Out of respect I never sold any.
She made her original Rhombic Triacontahedron from an Impossiball. I however thought it would be better made from a Dogic. I sculpted the new master required by hand and then made moulds of it in remeltable rubber (Gelflex) before casting the new pieces in polyester resin.
It is easier to solve than the Dogic it was made from since it doesn't have a Dogic's full functionality. It can be seen as a bandaged Dogic or Impossiball and it is very similar to my Rhomball. I am very pleased with it's quality and rotational movement is good. I used Rubik's Cube style stickers on it's 30 rhombic faces.
