I had been thinking about making one of these for a long time. Considering the amount of work involved though I wasn't sure if it was worth it. After all, it's just a slightly different version of the original 7x7x7 V-Cube. However once made I was very pleased with it. It's quite heavy though moves really well. When I finish a puzzle I usually just move on to the next. However I actually spent several hours playing with this thing. Heck, I even solved the thing.
For stickers I have used regular Rubik's Cube style in the popular BOY arrangement.
The last picture shows Erno Rubik handling my Cubic 7x7x7 with Uwe Meffert, Oskar Van Deventer and Georges Helm at the 2009 Dutch Cube Day event in Eindhoven. Thanks to Georges for supplying the photo.
The last video 'Erik's Solve' shows Erik Akkersdijk (WR holder for Rubik's Cube) solving the puzzle just before the event. Thanks to him for agreeing to do this.
