Every now and again I like to do something a bit different. In 2013 I made my Rubik's Parkour video and in 2007 I made a 9x9x9 hoax. In February 2014 after watching a video by redkb about a Rubik's Cube in a bottle I figured I would do something similar but take it to a new level.
Ironically in the comments section under his video people talked about putting a Petaminx in a bottle and also how it would be good if you could get your hand inside to turn the puzzle. I hadn't seen any of those comments though when I spotted a nice big glass jar in a charity shop. As soon as I saw it I knew what my project would be.
I guess a true "impossible" bottle would have a smaller neck where your hand couldn't fit. Since this is my first ever attempt at making something like this however there is no way I could've managed it just with tweezers and weird pointy tools. Even with a hand sized hole it was very difficult to do. Let's face it, a Petaminx puzzle is not exactly easy to assemble with two hands and no restrictions. Do you remember by Petaminx assembly video where I took 2.5 hours?
If you came here searching for Petaminxes to buy then see section below.
