This is my ball transformation of David Pitcher's mass produced Insanity Cube (purchase details link). It was actually harder to make than many of my other ball puzzles like the 13x13x13 Ball or Petaminx Ball. This is because on those puzzles you just turn them and keep cutting off parts that stick out. It's very time consuming but not very hard. On the Insanity Ball however much of the shape has to be judged by eye.
The quality of this puzzle is ok but far from great. Just like my first 4x4x4 Ball the cut down goes very close to the mechanism and affects structural integrity. Meaning that parts can easily push inside if you are not careful. Tightening up the ball helps but then results in a stiff puzzle.
