150 hours of construction time means this took virtually as long as my world record 1.57m Rubik's Cube. As far as I know it's the largest Megaminx puzzle in the world with an edge of 13.5cm / 5.3 inches and a height of 30cm / 11.8 inches. It weighs a hefty 3.3kg. The previous biggest was Olivér Nagy's Paperminx which I estimate to have an edge of around 7cm / 2.75 inches. I have used the exact same sticker material that Uwe Meffert used on his classic version in the 80s. It is very thick with a nice grainy texture. Only six colours are available so colours are doubled up on opposite sides. The first Tomy Megaminxes from the early 80s had more colours BTW.
Quality is OK but far from perfect as you can see in the above video. Movement can be awkward though the puzzle is fully functional and would stand up to light use. Since the puzzle is now in someone's collection I did not scramble it.
Although I am sure this is the biggest in the world I will not be seeking an official Guninness World Record. It would almost certainly be rejected since the Megaminx is not as well known as the Rubik's Cube. Also the size would need to be substantially bigger since it would be a new record and to be accepted it needs to something spectacular.

At 3.3kg perhaps this is the best way to carry it.
