The puzzle shown on this page is a MoYu 13x13x13 Rubik's Cube with specially made stickers. I used it to play a joke on the puzzle community by making a video full of lies and deception. A day or two later I revealed what I had done through a follow up video. The joke went down very well and most people enjoyed it. Please note. All puzzles on my website are genuine unless I specifically say they aren't. I only ever let jokes run for a short period and then reveal the truth. In 2008 I made a fake 9x9x9 and in 2014 I made a pseudo 15x15x15.

How?
The stickers were designed by myself and professionally printed and cut by Olivér's Stickers. Each of the 726 square cubie stickers have been replaced by slightly larger single stickers with four small coloured squares to give the impression there are four cubies instead of one. The corner stickers have been replaced by ones with nine small squares and the edges with ones containing six small squares. This combination makes the outer 13x13x13 layers look like they are three layers instead of one, making a total of 28 layers for the whole cube.
In order to make a video demonstration of a "fully functional" 28x28x28 I needed to sticker the puzzle in a certain way and shot the video very carefully. This is explained in my "28 x 28 x 28 Rubik's Cube Puzzle ? (part 2) How & Why ?" video.

Why?
As with my 9x9x9 hoax and also my Pseudo 15x15x15 Rubik's Cubes there are two main reasons. Firstly I love higher order puzzles and I am always eager to see something bigger than has already been produced. Naturally I would like to play with them but just seeing what they would look like also appeals to me.
The second reason is entertainment. My YouTube channel is important to me and I like to add new videos that people will enjoy watching or talk about.
